Chevy still sticks a big V8 up front if you want one, but the chassis and handling prowess of the Camaro are what make the car so desirable nowadays. There are plenty of options for Camaro buyers, too. If you’re a track rat, Chevy makes track-ready 1LE versions for every engine it offers. Convertible variants are aplenty, and the horsepower variety is broad. The only snag in this is that both the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger offer up a similar amount of choices.Changes for 2020 include a redesigned front fascia for the SS and the addition of the LT1 model. The front-end change comes as a response to the negative feedback about the 2019 Camaro SS design – this fixes it for the most part. The LT1 model keeps the V8 from the SS, but loses the staggered summer tire setup in favor of all-season rubber. It chops $3,000 offthe base price in the process. The last notable change for 2020 is the V6 now being paired with a modified version of the 10-speed automatic from the V8.The 2020 Camaro is available in two body styles (coupe and convertible), with four engines and eight trim levels (seven for the convertible). The base trim is the 1LS, available with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine and an automatic or manual transmission. It makes 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, returning 25 mpg combined with the automatic and 23 mpg combined with the manual. The 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trims add the 3.6-liter V6 as an option, adding more standard equipment with each step up in price. A V6 Camaro makes 335 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque, netting 22 mpg combined with the automatic or 20 mpg combined with a manual transmission. The LT1, 1SS and 2SS all come with the 6.2-liter V8, paired with either a manual or automatic transmission. These V8-equipped cars all make 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque and return 20 mpg with the automatic and 19 mpg with the manual. Finally, the ZL1 (2020 details unavailable) is the highest trim level, equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8. The menacing ZL1 makes 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, while returning an even worse 16 mpg combined with both transmission options. Every version of the Camaro puts its power down to the rear wheels only. You can use the rest of this page to find more in-depth information about the 2020 Chevrolet Camaro, including features, specs and where to find a good deal near you.MECHANICALEngine: 6.2L V-8Engine – valvetrain: OHVTurbocharger: N/ABrakes: Brembo 4-Wheel DiscAnti-lock braking system (ABS): 4-WheelBrake assist: StdDrive type: Rear-WheelEngine block heater: N/AExhaust: Stainless SteelSteering: Rack And PinionSpeed sensitive steering: StdSuspension tuning: SportRide control: Magnetic Ride ControlAdaptive suspension: OptFront suspension type: StrutFront anti-roll bar: StdFront shocks: Gas-PressurizedFront springs: CoilRear suspension type: Multi-LinkRear anti-roll bar: StdRear shocks: Gas-PressurizedRear springs: CoilElectronic stability system: StabiliTrakSequential shift control: OptTransmission: 6-Spd Man W/ODAxle ratio: 3.73Locking/limited slip differential: StdRemote vehicle starting system: OptTraction control: ABS And DrivelineINTERIORDriver information center: StdTachometer: StdTrip computer: StdWater temp gauge: StdVoltage gauge: StdLow fuel warning: StdService interval warning: StdLighting – map lights: FrontLighting – dome light: DelayLighting – cargo light: StdIlluminated vanity mirrors: N/ARear window defogger: StdRear view mirror: Day-NightMirrors – visor vanity mirrors: Driver And PassengerSeatback storage pockets: 1Tilt-Wheel adjustable steering column: StdSteering wheel material: Leather/Metal-LookAir conditioning, front: AutomaticAir filter: StdCargo net: OptClock: In-Radio DisplayCupholders: FrontGear shift knob trim: LeatherFloor console: FullFloor mats: Carpet FrontInstrumentation: Digital/AnalogOil pres>
